Give Yourself a Gift by Being Thankful

Regardless of where you are in your life, happy or sad, engaged or disenchanted, victor or victim, it's a useful exercise to "pull over from the highway of life" and reflect on what you are grateful for, and what you continue to pursue to change. By taking a moment to write down what you are grateful for, you give yourself the gift of renewed confidence & energy to pursue the change you desire in your life.

The exercise is simple, take a piece of paper, or send yourself an email with two categories:

  • Things I am Thankful for
  • Things I continue to Pursue to Change

We all see opportunities everyday to make a better life for ourselves, families, co-workers, and clients. Starting with  yourself, try this simple exercise of writing down what you are grateful for, and what you are determined to change. You might learn something about yourself and give yourself a renewed sense of confidence and energy.
